·         CELEBRATE JESUS – Wednesday 6th December with worship led by 3:16 worship group and speaker Andrew Mussell; held at Broomfield Methodist Church, Main Road, Broomfield CM1 7AG at 7.30p.m. for refreshments and worship at 8.00 p.m.  For further details of the evening see notice on Meeting room board.

·         Christmas Party – 6th January 2018 commencing at 3.30 p.m. Lynda Speak will be compiling the Food List (who can bring what) and will have her clipboard at the ready on 17th, 24th, & 31st December!

·         Creating Safer Space – Foundation Model – Safeguarding our young people and vulnerable adults.

The session is run in a friendly, relaxed style and has been appreciated by those who have already attended.

·         Advent For Everyone - This year’s Advent Ecumenical Course will use Tom Wright’s “Advent for Everyone - A journey with the Apostles”.  We start on Tuesday 21 November at 7.45 pm in Holy Trinity Church’s Meeting Room; early start as Advent 4 = Christmas Eve!  It then runs for 4 consecutive weeks on Tuesday evenings (21 & 28 November + 5 & 12 December) or 4 weeks on Fridays at 12.30pm from Friday 24 November and then 1, 8 & 15 December; Friday sessions include soup and rolls. We’ll read, discuss and learn some wonderful truth from the scriptures, jointly led by Peter Blackman (Catholic), Gill Songer (Methodist) and Ashley John (Anglican).  To prepare for the course with 1st week’s advanced reading you can get a book from Peter beforehand (peter@blackmanservices.co.uk or 01245 322079); donations requested -  £8 covers most cost but no minimum. Or just turn up for 1st or any sessions.
